1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
Eufy's gunmetal-and-gloss black Omni S1 Pro is one of the most impressive robot vacuums and mop combos on the market. It uses lidar to navigate, create maps of rooms and floors (even multiple levels) and integrates with the free Eufy Clean app that lets you set schedules and alter the behavior of the S1.
When I tested the S1 It was quick to locate our downstairs, which is home to laminate flooring in the kitchen, dining room and bathrooms, along with carpeting with a medium-pile and an area rug. It was able to drive close to walls without colliding with them, and was able to traverse thresholds for rooms that are raised without issue, though it occasionally had trouble navigating down stairs in a single pass. The S1 did a good job cleaning hard floors. Its mop moved smoothly on its flat side and lifted itself when it came to carpets or carpets.
The docking station on the S1 automatically emptys its trash bin and replenishes its water tank on board with clean, ozonated waters prior to each mopping session. The dock provides a deep-cleaning solution for the water. The S1 water tank can hold enough for 12 cleaning sessions, but this will vary based on how often you use the mop.
The S1 requires periodic maintenance, just like other 2-in-1 robots. You'll need to periodically rinse out the dirty tank to prevent it from becoming blocked. You will also need to clean your swivel wheel and sensors regularly to prevent them from getting blocked by dirt or dust. Overall the S1 requires less maintenance than other combos.
2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
This all-in-one robot mop and vacuum combo from Ecovacs is a great choice for cleaning needs. Its robot vacuum has 8700Pa suction power, and comes with many advanced features like voice control and smart path planning that cleans furniture and avoids obstacles. The mopping feature is impressive, with rotating mops that actually lift and scrub the floor, as opposed to just dragging the pad across it. The mops can be cleaned and dried at the base station when required.
This robot has a simple interface that guides you throughout the process. It also comes with a hand-vacuum which can be used to clean those hard-to reach areas that the robot cannot reach. There are also two water tanks which are automatically emptied or refilled. It has a variety of useful settings that allow you to fine tune your cleaning preferences.
The Deebot X2 Combo Complete is an excellent vacuum cleaner. It has a strong suction that can easily pick up dirt and other debris that other robots struggle with. Its navigation abilities are also quite good, though it could get stuck on small area mats and rugs at my home (which you can alleviate by defining virtual boundaries in the app). Its mopping capabilities are also very good and include a pair of mops which can lift and scrub the floor instead of simply dragging the pad across it. The mops are also cleaned with hot water and dried in the basestation whenever needed. The mops are also filled from the top of the base station as required.
3. Dreame X40 ultra
Dreame's X30 Ultra robot vacuum and mop was launched earlier this year. But their new flagship model comes with even more impressive features. It boasts fantastic cleaning results and hands-off maintenance which makes it a strong contender on our top robot vacuum and mop list. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart recognition and a long side brush ensure an efficient, customized clean.
The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming, removing large and small particles from hard floors as well as carpets. It cleaned the dirtiest areas of our tests efficiently by avoiding pet hairs as well as other dirt. The sweeping performance is augmented by a side brush that swings out to tackle hard-to-reach corners, and an extendable mop pad that is placed along baseboards.

The Q5 is among the few robots we tested that didn't show any trouble with high-pile carpets and area rug, but it was unable to pick up kitty litter or cable tangles and cable tangles, which isn't a surprise since it does not include AI-powered obstacle avoidance.
